Subsea 7 has acquired a majority stake in Nautilus Floating Solutions, a Spanish floating wind technology company.
The offshore energy company will hold a 59.12% share of the renewable energy developer, Subsea 7 announced on Monday.
The remaining shares are held by technology developer Tecnalia and design and manufacturer Vicinay, with shares of 29.14% and 11.74%, respectively.
Nautilus has created a four-column floating wind foundation that supports a wind turbine in offshore waters.
The contract value was not disclosed.
