Technip Energies has been awarded a large contract to perform preliminary activities for a floating LNG unit in Africa, the company said on Friday.
The contract will remain effective until September 30, 2025. Its value is between EUR 250 million and EUR 500 million.
A report from Upstream Online said the contract was believed to be related to the Coral North project in Mozambique.
Technip Energies is a global engineering and technology company serving the energy sector. It specialises in LNG, hydrogen, sustainable chemistry and CO2 management.
The company has delivered three open-sea FLNG units globally, including PFLNG SATU in Malaysia, Prelude FLNG in Australia and Coral Sul FLNG in Mozambique.
